We are blessed that the storied Watkins Glen Race Track is located in Zone 1 and delighted that we’re able to take you there for the Zone 1 “48 Hours at the Glen” DE weekend. Whether you’re a novice or experienced DE driver, don’t miss this opportunity to drive in the tracks of past glorious winners of Formula 1, NASCAR, Trans-Am, IROC and IndyCar races that have been held here over the years. Watkins Glen is a well-maintained, gorgeous track with 11 corners and wonderful elevation changes. It is set in a beautiful location, a short drive from the historic town of Watkins Glen. Just like at your own region DE events, you’ll be organized into run groups, so that you’re on the track with others of similar experience and capability. Instructors ride with drivers in the less advanced run groups, providing guidance and feedback to help the drivers develop their skills during the weekend. This event also includes the National Instructor Training Program which takes place on the preceding Friday.
