On behalf of the Sugarbush Polo GMR member, Eric Morris, is inviting all GMR members for an afternoon of cars and polo in Shelburne (929 Shelburne Hinesburg road, Shelburne VT 05482) on Sunday, September 14th.
The Sugarbush Polo Club (https://www.sugarbushpoloclub.com/) was founded in 1962 and is the oldest such club in Vermont. They pride themselves on a friendly, collaborative atmosphere that combines horsemanship, sportsmanship, and fun.
Access to the field is across from the Buccaneers football field. Cars should plan to arrive between 1:30pm and 2:00pm, where an area will be cordoned off for our cars to be showcased. Porsche owners are encouraged to stay for the match which starts at 3.00pm. After the match (approximately 4:30pm), team awards will be presented for the polo players and we will recognize the car voted as the most popular Porsche. Eric will have his 1978 SC there and we hope that many GMR members will join in this strictly social event. There is no need to register nor is there any cost, just show up at the field. You may want to bring some beverages for your own consumption and/or a camp chair or two.
