The 2026 GMR Annual BBQ will take place on Saturday, August 29th (rain or shine) from Noon to 4.00 pm. GMR members Rich and Becky Scott are once again generously sharing their home in Stowe for this event. Their address will be shared with all registered guests in advance of the event. Upon arrival, signs and assistants will direct you to various parking spots.
The menu will include pulled pork and brisket, potato salad, and coleslaw. As we’ve done for past BBQs, we ask that attendees bring a small “finger food” dessert to share as well as beverages for personal consumption. If history is any guide, we can expect about 50 attendees and we know our members bring generous desserts. That said, remember you don’t need to bring enough for everyone.
As members know, Stowe is a great spot to explore including the Stowe Mountain Resort and Stowe Village. In addition, don’t forget Smugglers Notch to test your driving skills!
